Sculptural timber sliding door detail with soft architectural lighting

Type

Residential

Location

London, United Kingdom

Concept

Completed in Q4 2025, Hampstead Heath was a full residential refurbishment and basement extension delivered over a programme of just over one year.

Koppice + Joro led the interior architecture, bespoke joinery design, manufacture, and installation, working closely alongside both the client and contractor throughout the duration of the project. The scheme involved a full reconsideration of the internal layout, including the redesign of wall configurations and the integration of newly formed basement spaces.

Particular attention was given to the relationship between architecture, joinery, and materiality, with a focus on delivering refined detailing and a calm, cohesive atmosphere throughout the home. Through close collaboration on site, the project balanced programme requirements with a consistent level of precision across both the larger architectural interventions and smaller crafted details.
