Concept

We were approached by Mika and Ricky to help restore a 1960s home located within one of North London’s most recognised modernist housing estates, an estate celebrated across architectural and modernist platforms for its distinctive character and design language.

Working collaboratively from the early stages of the project, we developed a fully coordinated tender package, including detailed drawing information and bill of quantities for submission to selected contractors. Our joinery design was integrated from the outset to ensure storage, functionality, and spatial efficiency were carefully considered throughout the home.

The success of the project was equally shaped by Mika’s strong design-led background and careful attention to materiality, proportion, and detail. The collaborative relationship between client, designer, and maker created a natural synergy that is reflected throughout the final result.

We look forward to continuing this way of working on future projects together.
